Geoff kitchen of Tamworth pay Sgt.
At 'C' company 1st Mercian for a number of years died suddenly on Thursday evening 18/05/06
Geoff was called up for National Service in the South Stafford's and served in Hong Kong at the time of the Korean War.
He volunteered for service in Korea along with many others from his battalion but was not accepted.
He joined the T.A. 5/6th Bn. And served with Mercian Volunteers,
He finished his service as a Wo2. (SQMS) pay. With 3 Stafford's
He held the Territorial Efficiency Medal with three bars.
