To all Mercian members
We had a good AGM on Sunday 16th March, 2008. It was well supported and I would like to thank everyone for their attendance. The minutes of the meeting will appear in due course on our website. In the meantime, we continue to grow in numbers and flourish in our activities. On behalf of the association committee, my thanks to you all for your support and enthusiasm We now have six active and fully constituted branches at Burton on Trent, Kidderminster, Rugeley, Stockport, Walsall and Wolverhampton, with another informal gathering at Nottingham. This is excellent news, given that we only created the Mercian Grove at the National Memorial Arboretum in 2004 and added our memorial stone in 2007.
